Speech and Language Evaluations

90 Minutes / Speech and Language Evaluation $300, Fluency / Stuttering Evaluation $300 Speech Only Evaluation $200

An assessment must be completed prior to booking speech-language therapy sessions. However, if your child was evaluated by a licensed SLP within the past 6 months, use of that evaluation can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

 Evaluations consist of:

• Gathering developmental, medical and educational information

• Identifying the caregiver’s areas of concern

• Administering standardized assessments

• Informal observation to identify additional strengths and challenges (e.g. language sampling, observing social communication skills)

• Analysis of formal and informal assessment measures, a comprehensive written report and individualized plan of care.

Speech-Language Therapy

30 or 60 Minute Sessions, $60 / $120 respectively

Evidenced-based therapeutic techniques are utilized to address your child’s needs in an engaging and compassionate way. Caregivers are always welcome in sessions to learn about treatment techniques, facilitating effective carryover at home. Sessions conclude with a consultation with the child’s parent or caregiver, discussing progress, strategies and activities to utilize at home. This collaborative approach facilitates continued skill development between therapy sessions.

Job Application / Interview Skills Coaching

30 or 60 Minute Sessions, $60 / $120 respectively

Effective communication skills are critical to securing a desired job. For teens and young adults who have had limited or no experience in this area, the job search process can be intimidating. These coaching sessions cover elements of the job hunting process including: understanding the process, coaching and feedback on job applications and resume, identifying and preparing for questions likely to be asked in an interview, social communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) and role-plays.

Accent Modification

30 or 60 Minute Sessions, $60 / $120 respectively. Package deals available with discounted rates. Please call for details.

Communicate more confidently and naturally in business and networking meetings, making sales call or presentations, in job interviews and so many other situations where clear communication is essential. Themed Camps / Workshops

Duration and cost information specific to each camp / workshop.

At times throughout the year, we offer various themed camps / workshops targeting specific skills such as social communication, language comprehension, literacy skills etc. Information on these events will be shared via our Facebook page. We welcome any requests or suggestions!

Parent Coaching

30 and 60 Minute Sessions, $60 / $120

Children, especially young children, spend the majority of their time with their primary caregivers. Through parent / caregiver coaching, we empower those who spend significant amounts of time with a child the knowledge and skills to:

• Learn about typical speech and language development milestones.

• When should you be concerned, and what can you do?

• Build early communication skills (even before children are ready for words!)

• Learn how to use play to facilitate language development

• Establish meal-time routines and address feeding challenges (e.g. picky eaters)

• Teach siblings and other family members how to support speech-language development

Professional Education

Professional education can be delivered to individuals or groups in areas such as typical speech-language development, picky eaters, warning signs for speech-language delays, strategies to facilitate language development.

Ideal for individuals who work with young children such as preschool / day care staff, medical personnel, teachers etc.
